Participates will review typical communication abilities of 3 and 4-year-old children. In addition, participants will be provided guidance on how best to model language and will be provided with a variety of strategies to support non-verbal or limited verbal students increase their expressive language skills. This session will focus on the beginning steps to using low tech Augmentative Alternative Communication supports in the preschool classroom with students who struggle with expressive language.
