CASE provides proactive strategies, environmental design suggestions and curriculum to support students, staff, classrooms and districts. Support varies as to best support the Executive Function needs for students.
CASE coaches are expert professionals who have backgrounds in Speech Language Pathology or Occupational Therapy. They have completed extensive work in the area of Executive Functioning through experts including Peg Dawson, Richard Guare, Sarah Ward, Tera Sumpter, and Russell Barkley. CASE EF coaches are experienced in the SMARTs curriculum and RUSH Neurobehavioral Center Executive Functions Curriculum.
Coaching/modeling includes one on one student support, classroom lessons, grade level/team coaching, classroom or individual observation with consultation, and modeling of strategies. CASE EF coaches also provide professional development on various EF topics in both small and large group settings.
