This one is worth a mention only because it seems to have reached dozens of our staff (thanks for sending those my way! I love your SPAM!)

It doesn’t appear that there’s any high-tech tomfoolery with this SPAM. It is classic “419” scam (so named after the Nigerian penal code for email fraud). Specifically this one is of the “Dying widow” variety. You can read about that one here: https://www.419scam.org/419-dying-widow-scam.htm.
